His versatile sound oscillates between young adult and millennial, depending on what serves the story. It's warm, quick on its feet, and grounded. In one session he can go from a wisecracking teen lead to a cold, refined villain, and both of them will feel like real people.

Animation first

Animation is where Nigel lives. His character reel runs from heroic and quippy teen leads to comedic sidekicks, warm young dads, zany oddballs and full menace villains. He builds characters that feel specific and lived in, not stock voices, and he keeps them consistent across long sessions and pickups months later.

Casting often calls for an authentic African American lead or supporting voice. Nigel brings that authenticity without leaning on caricature: the character is a person first, with real comedic timing and real emotional stakes.

He is currently recording as a series regular on an upcoming animated series.

Video games

A game is long-form acting. A character can carry hundreds of lines over months of sessions, and every one of them has to come from somewhere real. Nigel works a game script with the same intention he brings to developing a character on stage: who is this person, what motivates them, and what are their deepest fears? Then he brings the stamina and commitment to back it up. Battle cries, efforts and barks, quiet dread, mythic gods, roguish charmers, cyberpunk mercenaries and grounded survivors. He takes direction fast, so sessions stay on schedule.

Commercials and brand work

On the commercial side, Nigel has voiced work for brands including Microsoft Copilot, American Express, Wix, Adobe, Goldman Sachs, Capital One, PBS and TikTok. His read keeps an authenticity that reminds listeners they're hearing a human on the other side of the microphone, not an announcer, and that's what keeps him booked and busy.
